100% Happy Customers

100% Happy customers

We love feedback from our customers. Not only does it help us improve, but we also got some pretty entertaining ones.

We’re incredibly pleased that we’ve reached a rating of 100% for our service as gathered by the independent feedback service Feefo. Whilst our usual 98% is nothing to be ashamed of, being able to reach 100% is lovely and a sure sign we’re doing something right.

Thank you very much to all of our customers!

Catching squirrels and beating speed records!

Bamboo Stainless Steel Water Feature at PrimroseWe’ve had some brilliant reviews in the last couple of weeks, here are the funniest ones as chosen by the team.

Which is your favourite one?

Mini Mister Blue LED:

I love it, its going to make my Halloween cauldron look fabulous.

Advanced Spider Repellent – Whole House:

Usually have spiders that look like they are able to move the furniture around but have not seen any lately :)))

Brilliant ! For the first week after we plugged it in we had more spiders than we would usually have but obviously if these were already in the house the repellent is making them want to leave so we found them all by doors or windows and all were very dozy so were easy to dispose of !

Since that first week no spiders at all and I feel a lot happier and more confident knowing that we have this repellent . I have bought one for my daughter as well and recommended it to some of my friends who are also arachnophobes !

Squirrel and Mink Cage Trap:

Two squirrels are having an extended ‘holiday’ about a mile away, but they haven’t sent me a postcard yet!

Squirrel managed to eat the bait (bread coated in peanut butter) through the wire cage and then set off the trap by kicking the whole thing through 90 degrees!I have added extra wire mesh and secured the trap to the lawn with tent pegs – have not trapped anything yet. 16/10/2013

I gave a review on16th October regarding a squirrel trap supplied by Primrose. I mentioned that I had to make some modifications to the product but had not yet trapped a squirrel. I am delighted to report that since then two squirrels have been caught! 28/10/2013

Stainless Steel Bamboo Tubes Water Feature With LED Lights:

Clear step by step instructions would have made my rating excellent. Make a cup of tea look at where you are going to put the feature and think it through. You will need to drill a hole or two to make it fit together properly. Its worth noting that the transformer type light plug and control switch have to be kept dry at all times!!
Everyone that has seen it has loved it!!

PestBye Jet Spray Repeller:

We have found the ultra sound scarer normally works if not immediately then within a few days but recently we have been getting early morning visits from a stubborn cat who was defiant, that is until the Jet sprayer was deployed (——– WHOOSH jumped in the air and beat Usain Bolt’s time for 100 metres, not been back for over a week now!

Well-wishing with a wishing well

Wishing Well PlanterIn addition to reading unusual and funny product reviews we love reading about how our products are used. For example there was the lovely story about the ‘Bench of Beeston‘ that Ann sent through recently.

Wedding traditions are different around the globe, such as Germany’s Polterabend where guests smash crockery the night before to ward off evil spirits or the Turkish tradition of pinning money to the bride’s dress.

Whilst we hadn’t come across this Australian tradition of providing a wishing well before, we do hope that our wishing well planter provides them with the best wishes for their married life.

Read their review:

This wishing well planter is as I said being used as a part of our wedding ceremony. It is a custom in Australia to provide a wishing well for guests to deposit their cards and gifts. So we decided to do this here in Dublin too, the product supplied was just superb and we are rally pleased with it as it it a robust product that’s well made and excellent value for money.

After the wedding it will be placed in our garden for us to look back fondly on our happy day. Thank you so much for your contribution to our wedding day. I will use no other than Primrose who offer a really First Class Service with Excellent Products – Well Done Primrose a Five Star Service.

Digging the Dig-It Gnome

Magic Mirror GateHere at Primrose we love it when our customers take the time to leave us product reviews. And we love reading them even more – some of them are so witty and clever!

Here are our three favourites from the past week:

Magic Mirror Gate:

The mirror is amazing! We are constantly taking friends into the garden and watching their reactions to our new gate – they are always fooled at first.

The best though was our cat, who did a double-take when he spotted a ‘rival’, then tried to push through the half-open gate to investigate!

Mini Dig-it Garden GnomeWeed Wand Wizard:

Great little tool and extremely satisfying to hear the weeds scream and shrivel.

Mini Dig-it Garden Gnome:

How can you not dig the dig it gnome?

The Bench of Beeston

The Bench of Beeston

A couple of months ago we received some lovely feedback from Ann about our Liz Frances™ teak bench:

Not for me, housewarming present. The owners were very happy with it and so pleased. it is now the hub of their new home, being able to use their garden as an extra room. Seen in lots of photos since.

We asked Ann if she would send us some photos and she also included this lovely story:

This isn’t just a bench. It is the centre of my daughter’s social life. When she moved into her new house I bought her the bench as a house warming gift. It is beside the front door looking onto the road.

At breakfast she eats her breakfast and sees her friends walk by on their way to work. In the evening she and her friends will eat dinner on the bench, they drink wine and relax. Her friend she house-shares with practises his guitar and people stop and join in and chat.

My daughter, Abi, has many photographs of many happy occasions with the bench. This one shows the bench at it’s best.

It is called the Bench of Beeston.

Thank you very much for sending this to us, Ann, it most certainly brightened up our day and we wish that your daughter has many more happy memories with the bench!
